Into the Swamp! Our journey into the Pantanal.
The Pantanal is a massive swampland on the Bolivian Brail border that covers an expanse the size of France. It is said to be a better place than the Amazon to view wildlife as you are able to get closer to the many animals in the wide open plains. The 3 of us (inc our fake kiwi mate, Sophs, who we have been travelling buds with for 3 weeks now) spent 5 days in the swamp teaming with animals such as monkeys, crocs, armadillos, coatis, anteaters, papyburras (massive guinea pigs), piranhas, catfish, macaws, toucans, malibous, giant gechos, otters , anacondas and loads of different types of birds.
