Tayrona national park Columbia

Stop........... Hammock time

After many months on the road a chill out time on the beach was well inorder. Columbia has some of the best beaches in the world and is unspoilt by tourism. Tayrona national park is protected. To get to the beaches here was a bit of a trek. A jeep ride into the jungle and then 2 hour hike through the jungle. (there are still indigenous tribes who live in the jungle in Tayrona. I only saw one, you cant take pictures of them.) Eventualy you come to a beautiful beach. There were 4 beaches in this area. Is so hot there you just hire a hammock for your sleeping quarters! Was amazing sleeping in the out doors to the sound of the waves. One night there was an amazing electrical storm. Was wonderful!
